Staff

Gaetia Dianthe:
Woman-of-many-talents and general oddity; voluntarily haunts
the bookshelves on
her break periods.

Rosemary Carver:
The first of the new hires. Resident handiwoman and an enigmatic member of the Finale's roster. Probably human.

Juniper Winters:
Taxidermist and voidsent researcher. Cannot help but suspect that the proprietor himself is one of them.

L'oscurita Khal:
The third of the new hires. An honest worker.
May or may not be productive to a self-destructive fault.

Cross Lazarith:
The most recent hire and a jack-of-quite-literally-all-trades, master of none. Infinitely better at making others' drinks than his own.

The proprietor.

About the Finale

Our goal is to build a space for anybody - be you a serious writer or a casual roleplayer - to interact with others and/or share stories and experiences relating to your worlds, characters, and everything in-between.Upon entering, you will be welcomed and prompted with an option.
If you say you're just visiting, we will interpret this as your preferring to be left alone -- though you may initiate at any point should you change your mind.However, if you'd like to order something, you need only ask.We seek to provide but one thing -- company. Everything else is supplementary.
Visitors have the option of ordering from anything on the menu, but the only payment requested is conversation.
We care not for the subject matter, be it idle chit-chat or regaling one's most absurd adventures. No matter how elaborate, an experience is still an experience.

Guidelines

- Experience level doesn't matter! Our staff features roleplayers on both ends of that spectrum. I myself (Levi) am still learning, so there's absolutely no judgement here.
Let's stumble through this together. :)- Flirtatious talk is perfectly fine within reason, but we ask that anything explicitly sexual or violent be kept in a private chat.- If you'd like to gpose at our cafe, that's perfectly fine -- we just ask that you use #finalexiv on twitter/X or bluesky so we can see and appreciate your work.- We as people are not our characters. Just because one of our characters dislikes, say, your character or something they've done, does not mean any animosity is held towards you as a person.- The staff reserve the right to act at their discretion.
